The global church has a track record of allowing members to become observers, while an exhausted, burnt out pastor does all the work in the church and the community around it. Weston Road Church is committed to creating a model that reflects God's love for his children: an organic composition of hearts and hands living out the gospel with more than lip service. An organism is comprised of parts that have a function. If you desire to be a part of WRPC, you must function.
At our church, we acknowledge that everything we are, and everything we possess, is a gift from God. That is why our musicians, our ushers, our Children's Ministry assistants?people serving in all areas?donate their talents and time. Sunday is not just a time of observation and experience, but of experiential participation. The greeter at the door, the receptionist, the pastor...all are used by God to speak into people's lives, to be a living sermon.
